Australian headquartered global point-of-purchase powerhouse, Creative Instore Solutions (CIS) made a clean sweep at the 2011 Australia / New Zealand POPAI Marketing at Retail Awards with seven wins across all seven nominated categories – including the coveted Semi-Permanent Display of the Year for the iconic BIC® modular display.
Recognising merchandising excellence in point-of-purchase advertising, the POPAI Awards are judged by a panel of industry professionals on the basis of the display's ability to secure retail placements, increase sales and position the brand. The success at the POPAI Awards night held on 14th September brings CIS’ total awards tally across Australia, UK and US to almost 50.
“These awards are immensely gratifying and reflective of the dedication and design acumen of the team. Most importantly, the POPAI Awards and other industry accolades CIS has achieved are a great testimony to the value of developing innovative systems that deliver ROI for our clients through an integrated marketing process. We are passionate about what we do and look forward to pushing the boundaries with our clients to get great results,” said Steve Howell, Managing Director of Creative Instore Solutions.
The 2011 POPAI Awards were given out post assessment of each unit’s technical and creative merit, effectiveness at point-of-purchase and innovative features. As a strong believer in manufacturing sustainable products with longer shelf life, all of CIS’ entries are in the permanent and semi-permanent categories.
